Uganda closed schools due to Covid-19 for two years, the longest period in the world. But right after they reopened this year, KWCAO was ready to restart our conservation presentations. In the first week, alone, our Program Manager, Nicholas Muhindo, and Field Educators, Baguma Emilio, Maate Mathius, and Mukamba Morris visited 14 schools and gave presentations to more than 10,000 students. They also gave out 280 native tree seedlings, the majority of which have already been planted! The future of Uganda is bright, indeed!
